Römer
After a short break at the hotel, we walked to the bank of the Main and then towards the old town. The many winding alleys and the picturesque perspectives in this lively district create a very special flair and provide many beautiful photo motives. The town hall - also known as the Römer - is the oldest town hall in Germany and should not be missed during your visit to the old town. For more than 600 years history has been written and lived here.

Römerberg
The centre of the old town is the Römerbergplatz, which is located directly in front of the town hall. Many impressive historical half-timbered houses frame this beautiful square, where there is always something going on. In former times the square was called "Samstagberg", because since the 9th century it was used for markets, fairs, festivals and many other events.

Alte Nikolaikirche
Near the square is the Saalgasse, where the Nikolai church is also located. This small and simple church is a place of peace and worth a short visit. But what I find even more interesting is the Saalgasse, with its enchanting arquitecture. The houses have been built very narrowly and no two are alike. For me personally one of the most exciting places of the city!

SEVEN SWANS
The Seven Swans is an ideal place to spend a great evening! The restaurant is very modern and comfortably furnished. The service is very courteous, warm and cordial. And the food is an absolute delight both visually and in terms of taste. The price level is relatively high, but still reasonable for the quality offered.
