    • - Visit the Somme Battlefields memorials.
    • - Remember History to understand present times.
    • - Pay tribute to the sacrifices of the fallen.
    • - Discover Arras, an unexpected gem city.
Get ready for one of the most emotional road trip of your lifetime! "Hauts-de-France" is the French region that has been worstly affected by World War I. It was a critical that had to be saved at any cost in order to defend Paris. The sadly known Battle of the Somme, in 1916, turned into one of the bloodyest battle ever, with more than one million casualties on both sides.
Memorials, museums and cemeteries will feature your journey, but you will also drive through the beautiful natural sceneries of the Somme Valley and be able to visit typical cities of the North of France like Arras, Péronne or Albert. They have been nicely reconstructed after the war. At present, you can't imagine the damages which were inflicted there.
Remembering is a way, for present and future generations, to value the importance of peace. No more war, never again...
