From History to Wine Tasting: Welcome in the Alsace Day 2

What's a day without breakfast? Not a good day, so we start our day with a stop at this cute café. Enjoy some great coffee and amazing pastries.

You will spend the morning at this beautiful 12th century castle, which has been restored, so you can get a great impression of the historic times. You can park your car for free at the foot of the castle, after which it is only a short walk-up to the entrance. Be prepared for some serious stairs walking, but the historic sites and panoramic views are totally worth it.

Indulge in the local cuisine and have lunch at this ancient hotel. The setting is super cozy and the food is superb. So relax after visiting the castle and recharge for the rest of the afternoon.

This winery will be the first of your wine tastings. You can book your guided tasting in advance here, which is also available in English. Taste anything you like? You can fill up the trunk with your favorite wines.

After a short drive to Riquewihr, you will do another wine tasting. This wine house offers a wide range of organic wines, which you can taste by making a reservation here.

Check in to this modern hotel in the center of Kaysersberg, where you can park for free.

A visit to Kaysersberg is not complete without a short visit to this castle. The walk-up is about 10 minutes, where you find an amazing view over the village.

Since there will be no more driving today, you can enjoy some more wines which pair perfectly with the served dishes. Get ready for some great Alsace cuisine with, again, amazing service.
