The Botanical Garden of Batumi, perhaps, can be called one of the main attractions of Adjara. On the slopes of the huge park blossoms magnificent vegetation from all over the world.
The place has some extraordinary, calming atmosphere, so it's easy to lose track of time here and spend the whole day admiring the incredible views from the observation platforms, or relaxing after a long walk.
For any tourist visiting Batumi, a visit to this park is an obligatory part of the program. And this is not without reason, because almost at any time of the year there is something to surprise and fascinate even the most picky traveler.

Makhinjauri beach is not as popular as the Central beach of Batumi, because there are not so many entertainments, restaurants and cafes, but its advantage is that there are far fewer people, prices in cafes by the sea are lower than in the city center and the atmosphere is much more pacifying.
Among other things, there are also several resorts, where for a fee you can undergo a course of treatment with mineral waters. The coast is fully equipped with everything you need for a good holiday: rent chairs and umbrellas, food kiosks and cafes, showers and cabins for changing clothes.

Restaurant Megrul-Lazuri is a large and atmospheric restaurant which is really full of Georgian flavor. The interior of the institution is made in a cozy and authentic style, the staff is very hospitable and friendly.
The chefs are some of the best in the region, and of course the menu deserves special mention as it abounds with favorite local delicacies including wonderful satsivi, chihirtma and pkhali, as well as a wide range of different wines including locally produced ones.

Built in the Venetian style and located in old Batumi, the town square is one of the main attractions, where crowds of tourists come every day.
Decorated with artistic murals and examples of stained glass and mosaic art, it is the center of events, official receptions and concerts. On summer evenings you can listen to local artists and watch the musical clock with moving figures. All this beauty is complemented by restaurants, small cafes and bars, where you can spend a pleasant time.

Europe Square is another famous Batumi square, located in the very center of the city, not far from the Astronomical Clock and Theater Square. It is incredibly popular with tourists because of the extraordinarily beautiful statue of Medea and its history, which states that the Colchis civilization once existed on the territory of Adjara.
Medea, the king's daughter, under the spell of her love for the Argonaut Jason, helped steal the talisman of her people's well-being, the golden fleece. They fled together on the ship Argo, which is depicted on the statue.
The square itself is not very large, but it is always clean and ennobled. In the evening on the square turns on a beautiful color lighting. There are often concerts, festivals, and in winter there is a big Christmas tree.

The main attraction of Theater Square is the Neptune Fountain, in the center of which there is a statue of a god surrounded by mermaids.
Avid travelers who have previously visited Bologna will surely find a clear resemblance between the Georgian and Italian versions of the fountains celebrating the sea god. However, one can't help but notice that the abundance of gold makes Batumi's Neptune much more luxurious and conspicuous.

Art-Cafe Heart of Batumi is a great Georgian cafe that differs from its Batumi counterparts in many aspects. First of all, the interior of the cafe is designed not in the classic Georgian style "all made of wood", but in a true art style.
Many of the decorative elements are handmade, which creates a special coziness and warmth. Also dishes of Georgian cuisine are prepared here in not quite the usual Georgian style - not very greasy and spicy, and they are served in a very elegant and sophisticated manner.
Warm and hospitable attitude of the staff remains unchanged: often the chef himself greets the guests and helps them to choose dishes.

The wheel is one of the highlights of the Wonderland Park. Its height is about 55 meters, the booths are modern and open.
The attraction is designed and manufactured by an Italian company and is designed to seat 240 people at a time. A full turn takes about 10 minutes.
Next to the attraction is the famous statue of love Nino and Ali, a symbol of affection and understanding between Georgia and Azerbaijan. In the evenings, there are many stalls in Wonderland Park with all sorts of goodies - from delicious smelling kebabs to popular sweets.
