    Gm Supermercati

Once around the block I found the "Simply Market" and spontaneously packed some snacks for me and my friends I had met on the first day. I advise you to take enough water with you and for the snacks, especially dry things like cookies, crackers or bread. Pickled food or chilled sausage, etc. can quickly taste funny in the heat and I didn't want to take any risks.

    Mercadante Forest

After I was collected at the meeting point, I drove the 45 minutes by car to a parking lot at the edge of the forest. We decided to follow the path through the forest until we came to a man-made path, which we followed until we reached a game park. Passing the game park we continued walking on dirt tracks through the forest until we came to a clearing - I didn't know where we were at all, but the couple stopped and took a small grill out of their bag and some meat and vegetables. We had a wonderful picnic, to which I contributed the snacks mentioned earlier. It is exactly because of such moments that I love to go on holiday alone, because this way I get to know things that I would never have seen or known otherwise. We talked, exchanged ideas and I invited them to visit me once in Germany, which they accepted with thanks. After we had finished eating we went with filled bags to the next garbage can and then back to the game park. If you want you can have an ice cream here, or you can do it like us and go directly back to the car.

    La Uascezze

For dinner I went to "La Uascezze" on the recommendation, which despite its already quite well known should still be very authentic. I can only confirm this, as here, one really sits comfortably and feels like a real Italian. The lamps and lights are integrated directly into the rock face, which looks really great. The food tastes great and you don't necessarily have to be into seafood or fish to be happy here. The restaurant also offers a cheese and ham platter, or vegetables au gratin. Let the restaurant put a spell on you and enjoy some nice hours.
Info: The restaurant is only open from 20:00-23:30 - it is best to reserve a table at the reception.
