We started our day at the Canal Bank Cafe. Here we had a truly delicious Irish breakfast and experienced a very pleasant atmosphere.

Of course our trip began with an extensive shopping tour. The biggest shopping street of Dublin, which is centrally located, can be strolled along in a relaxed way. Beside the standrad fashion chains you can find individual shops in different price ranges. What makes the street so special are the first-class street musicians and artists (especially at the weekends).

For lunch we enjoyed a delicious meal here (Irish cuisine newly interpreted) in a cosy ambience. The restaurant is awarded with a Michelin star and is located near Trinity College, which we wanted to visit afterwards. It is really legendary here.

On site we took part in a guided tour, which was conducted by a student. The cost was 13 Euros per person, including a visit to the Book of Kells and the library. The opening hours vary throughout the year, so check the internet before you go.
The campus is huge and especially the library more than delighted us. This sight should not be missing on your trip! Here we got a real Harr Potter feeling on 😊.

After the Trinity College tour we had delicious cake and coffee in Dublin's oldest cafe in the city centre.

Afterwards we went for a photo stop to the O'Connell Monument, a really impressive statue (you can see some of them here). From here we started our next shopping trip. On O'Connell Street you can find big Irish fashion chains like Dunnes and Penneys (Primark in our case), as well as expensive boutiques. In addition, numerous restaurants, pubs and cafés invite you to stay.

At Mr Fox we had a real explosion of taste 😊. The prices are a bit high, but the service and above all the quality are just fantastic.

At the end of the day a visit to a traditional pub should not be missed 😊. Here, everything was just as you'd expect it to be: cosy, authentic atmosphere, great people in the best of moods and great live music.
