    Powerscourt Centre

    Food
This jewel I truly commend to you. From the outside it looks a bit unimpressive, that's why we didn't find it the day before, although we were already close by. Once you are inside, it is more than just a shopping centre. Specially the arquitecture and the nice decoration blew us away. There are also many small shops and nice cafés. A visit here is recommended, as this center is really unique and shopping is somehow forgotten 😊.

    Dublin Castle

    History
It was only a 10 minute walk to the famous and already from the outside impressive Dublin Castle. If you are interested in the history of Dublin, I recommend you to take a tour booked in advance (to avoid waiting times). You will also have the opportunity to see more of the rooms than without a guide. Opening hours: Monday to Saturday: 10:00 - 16:45; Sunday & Holiday 12:00 - 16:45 Costs: 8,50 Euro p. p.

    The National Wax Museum Plus

Besides an insight into Irish history, you can look forward to photos with Harry Potter, Madonna, Elvis Presley and many other celebrities. My highlight was the horror section 😊. Opening hours: Monday to Sunday 10:00 - 19:00 o'clock, costs 12 Euro p. P.

    Viking Splash Tours

The tour is a really cool way to learn more about Dublin by land and sea in a very entertaining and fun way. The highlight were of course the Viking helmets that we had to wear during the tour 😊.

    Stephen's Green Shopping Centre

This shopping centre is also worth a visit for its extraordinary and impressive architecture alone. There is something for every budget on three floors.

    Bunsen

    Food
With our bags packed to the brim we finally went to the Temple Bar district, the cultural heart of Dublin. Especially in the evenings the mail goes out here 😊. The prices are sometimes very high, but the atmosphere and the feeling are simply unbeatable. If you are looking for the perfect burger, the Bunsen is the place to be. We really enjoyed it. The price-performance ratio was also very good.

    The Temple Bar

The name says it all 😊. The pub is definitely worth a visit. Although it is very touristy here, we really enjoyed the authentic atmosphere, the great live music and the great atmosphere. Of course there were also the one or other Guiness 😊.
