So much time in the car will have you ready to move, so rent a road bike at Placid Planet Bicycles just five minutes from the resort, and take advantage of the region's many bike paths, including one that winds around Mirror Lake itself. It’s a great way to get a workout while also getting a view of the lake from all sides.

After your cycle session, head back to the resort to shower and change, then take a drive over to the Adirondack Store & Gallery, where you can find everything from Adirondack chairs to table linens to blankets made in and for the cold winter climate. A great spot for souvenir shopping.

This small art gallery in town, just a few minutes from Mirror Lake, carries stunning photography by local and national photographers of the natural beauty and wildlife of the Adirondack Region. Pop in for a look at some of these beautiful prints. You may even take one home with you!

Enjoy one of the best dining locales in the region, right at your doorstep. Have dinner in the resort's restaurant, The Cottage, which sits right on the edge of the lake, with stunning views on all sides. The restaurant serves comfort food with a twist, and is even dog-friendly!

After dinner, stroll into town and onto Main Street, where you'll find Roomers Night Club, a legendary nightspot where you can dance off your dinner. There is a DJ and a dance floor, so bust a move and join in the fun.
